God has told us He sent us to Earth to learn by our own experience and the guidance of others the difference between truth and error. So he understands when we explore--- trying one thing then another.
But He has also said we have a hundred years to decide what to hold and defend through the best use of our agency. That gives us time to change our minds if we sense we have elected less than the best.
